If you have been around me for a while, you probably know my dog and companion since childhood passed away last spring... And I have to admit, her absence has effected me more than I thought it would! But even though I miss her a lot and wish she could have stayed with us longer... I have managed to move on. My family has been talking about finding a new dog for months, and it's finally official: we are getting a puppy! So meet our little Lucy Grace! She is about five weeks in this picture, which I took when we visited her and her family last weekend. Once she is old enough, she will move in with us, and I hope she will live happily here! Sh

Sorry Cassandra, I misunderstood Now the last day is dawning -ABBA I never realized just how much noise you really made. The darkness all around me wants me to sleep, but I can't, not yet. I need to remember you. Cars are driving by. Birds are singing their sweet songs of spring. The freezer is making strange, buzzing sounds. Just like usually. But you're gone. I never miss anyone. During summer, I never really miss my friends, and when sleeping out, I never really miss my parents. It's been a long time since I've felt this way. I miss you. Did you understand why we did this?
